Federal petitions to Stop Grassy Mountain
Concerned Alberta residents have initiated several petitions to the Federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change asking him to deny the Grassy Mountain coal project. The federal government, unlike Alberta, will consider electronic petitions initiated through its’ formal petitions process. For more information and to sign click the following links:

Alberta Petition: STOP Open-Pit Coal Mines!
Everyone concerned about the threat of open pit coal mining in our unique mountain ecosystems is urged to sign a petition from Stop Crowsnest Mines. Alberta government rules require hand written, original signatures on petitions in order for them to be considered in the legislature.
If it is easier for you to print out the petition, sign it and get your friends to also sign just contact Stop Crowsnest Mines when you are finished and they will arrange pickup.
